Jeremiah is a handsome 13 year old with a great smile. He is very creative and loves to draw and build things. Jeremiah is said to be very helpful in the kitchen and likes learning how to cook and bake. Jeremiah enjoys attending and actively participating in church activities. Jeremiah has high goals for his future and has said before that he would like to attend Texas A&M and study to become a Veterinarian. Jeremiah learns at a slower rate than other children his age due to his diagnosis. He receives additional services and resource in school to help him be successful with his grades. Jeremiah is a quiet child and is content with his own company. He is soft spoken and tends to shy away when he is unsure of himself. Jeremiah also shies away from people he doesn’t know or is uncomfortable with. Once he is comfortable with someone, he is very charming and welcoming. Jeremiah does not respond well to being yelled at; he likes to be talked to in a calm manner. He is very kind hearted. Jeremiah would thrive best in a one or two parent home. Jeremiah would do well with older siblings who can be good role models for him. Jeremiah needs clear rules and consequences, as well as rewards and praise. He needs parents who are understanding, patient, and loving.
