James is a social 17 year old. He likes playing video games, watching superhero movies, and being outdoors. James enjoys reading fictional books. He also enjoys having visits and contact with his older brother, Brandon. He understands however that he can not be placed with his siblings due to their own particular needs. James can be very respectful and polite. He has the potential and self motivation to succeed in life. He enjoys conversations with adults and is very open. If he makes a mistake, he is often very apologetic and sincere without being prompted. James does well academically, but he might do better with the support and resources of a loving home. When James sees one of his classmates who is upset, he is often the first one to go and check on them. He always wants to know how he can help others or fix anything that is broken. He has a very sweet disposition and is very respectful of adults, always saying “Yes ma’am” and “No ma’am”. James would like a family with a parent who he can rely on and who will be there to listen to him and teach him new things. James' forever family will need to provide him with structure and be able to hold him accountable. His ideal family will help him to continue to work on processing past experiences and learning to make good choices. James' forever family will need to provide him with a secure placement and long-term consistency in his life, in order for him to be successful. James dreams of going to college and shows interest in mechanics and culinary arts. He hopes to find his forever family so he can have a home to spend holidays and celebrate future accomplishments as well as who will show support throughout his life.
