Sit with Children in the Hospital
Are you attentive, empathetic, and engaged? Are you looking to volunteer with children? Do you want to help foster youth in a meaningful way? Child Protective Services is seeking volunteers to sit with children while they are in the hospital to keep them company, comfort them, read to them, or help them eat.
This is a great opportunity if you are a retired medical professional, first responder, teacher, or just someone who loves nurturing children.
All volunteers are required to complete a background check, attend orientation, and complete online trainings.

You can also take adults who are elderly or have disabilities to various appointments. You must have a valid Texas driver’s license, maintain personal liability insurance, have a valid license plate and inspection sticker, and have seat belts in your vehicle.
