It’s staggering that less than 50% of foster youth graduate from high school and less than 2% of foster youth graduate from college. This is a night to celebrate the immense accomplishment of these foster youth and at risk teens that have beaten the odds and are graduating from high school or receiving their GED’s. Every year there is a surprise guest, there have been former athletes such as Matt Bullard, a Woodlands resident and former Rockets player and this year Lieutenant General Robert Wilson, US Army Retired gave the graduates words of encouragement before they threw their red caps in the air!
This year Always Pursue is on June 3, 2018 at The Woodlands United Methodist Church
