PRAISE GOD!! Our goal was to fulfill 400 foster children's wishes ... 831 foster children's wishes have now been met!! In addition, 724 wishes/needs were granted to our foster care community partners (i.e., foster family resource centers, Hope's Path, etc.).
With the help of our KSBJ and NGEN listening partners, a total of 3,040 gifts were purchased in time for Christmas!
We encourage you to help us continue to bless these children and families in 2019 with Easter baskets, their backpack/school supplies, and birthday gifts by purchasing a $10+ gift card below.
You can extend love to foster families and children by purchasing a gift card to help meet their 2019 ongoing needs.
Due to the fluidity of the foster care system, children come into care throughout the year. Sometimes children miss out on events that help provide them with things like school supplies, Christmas gifts, clothes, etc. By purchasing a gift card, you can support one or more of these children, not just for Christmas, but through the entire year.
By supporting one of these Foster Care Support Programs, you are helping provide: supplies that are needed for everyday life of the organization/program; supplies for special events supporting foster children/youth or foster/kinship families; and items that are in high demand for foster families receiving new placements.
Hope's Path is a Christian non-profit organization that bridges "hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11) to former foster youth 18-27 years old, who typically become homeless upon "aging out" of the system. Hope's Path has a men's residence in Spring, TX. There is not girls residence at this time however girls participate in the program services as "off-site interns" (typically while living in college dorms). We invite you to come meet our interns and learn more about Hope's Path at our Open House Friday - Dec.7! www.HopesPath.org
Most of the time, children are removed and placed into foster homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. This can put a tremendous amount of immediate need on foster families. Hope's Bridge is a resource center that helps provide foster parents with items they need for their constantly growing and changing family households.
Moses Closet is a foster care resource center located in Tomball, TX . Moses Closet helps provide foster parents with items foster families need when a new child is placed in their family or whenever there is a changing need.
